A water park plan that fell apart twice before was approved by the Planning Commission.

The plan, which was given the green light during a meeting Wednesday at the Civic Center, will put a 19-acre park on Diaz Road and Dendy Parkway, according to city documents.

The plan must still win the City Council’s approval before construction begins.

The plan was approved twice in the past, but dried up both times.

If this tentative plan gets approved by the City Council, It could bring more local jobs to our valley. Job creation will help move our economy back onto the right track.
